This August, Ilford Lane Food Bank (ILFB) was pleased to offer families visiting the Hub a range of non-food items alongside their food parcels.

Having these additional items available makes a real difference, helping us respond to some of the other immediate needs of local families.

We were able to provide to provide non-food items such as clothes and toys this month. The Redbridge Council team helped identify  families and individuals with other needs as well as connecting families with relevant council services and support.

It was also wonderful to have our younger volunteers involved during the school holidays. Their time and enthusiasm are greatly appreciated, and we hope the experience encourages them to continue volunteering and supporting their community in the future.
