This October, ICSS had the opportunity to speak on 24 Hours Radio’s Pitching In programme, hosted by Ash Hussain.
During the interview, I shared how ICSS runs Ilford Lane Food Bank (ILFB), which is currently operating from temporary premises in North Ilford. We talked about the importance of supporting local people facing hardship and how volunteers play an essential role in keeping the food bank running.
It was a great opportunity to raise awareness of our work, celebrate the commitment of our volunteers and highlight how community support can make a real difference to people in need.
A big thank you to Ash, Zahir and 24 Hours Radio for giving us a platform to share our work and spread the word about ILFB! 💛
