The ICSS study group/homework club for children from Afghan families has now resumed. We are back at the same hotel from which we started the homework club in February earlier this year, but are working in a different area of the hotel with another point of entry. We have been open for three weeks now and have been very happy to see some familiar faces of both the children and some of our volunteers who have helped us earlier this year. We anticipate that the club should continue until the end of this year, while the families continue to be relocated to other parts of the country.

The children often study with English and the construction of the language so any suggestions on phonetics and speaking/listening to English would be very welcome. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please contact us on: info@icss.org.uk
